New To Forum - Problems With Traction Control

Almost 3 years ago I bought a 2003 Celica T-Sport, and it was the best day's work I ever did! Released from the drudgery of "company Mondeos" (well...."released from the company" as well, actually!), I have enjoyed 3 years of fun motoring without a peep of trouble...until Sunday afternoon.

I was driving home on the M23 when suddenly my engine warning light and my Traction Contol Warning Light both came on....and "on" they stayed.

The vehicle has now done 48k miles, and has always been serviced regularly.

It is now booked in at my local dealer (who reckons he has never heard of this before....but if that was the case surely there wouldn't be a warning light designeed especially for the purpose?!)

Anyone any ideas? Is this a simple fix? ..or is it time to find an evening job at B & Q to pay for the repairs?

All advice welcome (including how to work a till at B & Q).

"The Man at Simpsons of Uckfield He say.....new oxygen sensor".

Hi, The same thing has happened to me!

I went to have it checked on a computer and it said 'injector fault' and ?ABS problem, but when they took it out of the terminal all lights went off!!!

What is the oxygen sensor and should i be worried that it may have just reset the computer?

I'm not experiencing any problems with performance but am getting a slight clunking noise on reversing, but only with full left lock on?

Would appreciate any thoughts?

Martin
