Cruise Control

Hi everyone

Im just wondering did the corolla ever come with cruise as an option, my friend has a passat and with vag com software he activated the function on the ecu, just went out an bought the stalk from VW, fitted it and now has cruise control on the car. What i want to know is did the cts ever come with cruise as an option?

If not has anyone ever fitted an after market kit,if so what brand and what did they think of it?

I woundnt be to enthusiastic about the after market version,being that if you had a crash what would the insurance company do if they found out you had modified your car that way, but said i mite as well ask anyhow?

Shame, be a nice thing to have on the car,good for saving fuel to. Have to see whats available after market. Smoftah was selling one for the d4d, he thinks Toyota Germany mite have been fitting them, could be worth investigating
