We have a new Aygo Blue on order because the second hand vehicles were so expensive - holding their value I think they call it. I suppose that should be good news for you but, then again, most will make the decision we made - buy new as it's not much more.

What you are competing with new at the moment is the Blue (list price with AC £8250 ish) and the Platinum (list with AC £8750 ish) which have 0% free credit until the end of March and lots of accessories as well as the ability to part exchange, bargain a good discount and be the proud owner of a new vehicle. The advantage you have is the fact it's ice blue - bit different given all the silver, blacks and lagoon blues that aregoing to be out there.

I normally always buy used and I would have been happy to buy a slightly less than one year old for about £5,500 - £6,000. Unfortunately, there were none around anywhere near that - forecourt prices were circa £7000 - so we ordered new with a huge discount, interest free credit and the special edition extras bundled in.

The price here in Derby is £7999 for a 'Blue' (A/C as standard), or 'Platinum' (none A/C).

That's the list price. I mention later in my post heavy discounting to bring that price down. I've bought with protection for errr....ummm.... rather less than £7999.

If you look at http://www.pistonheads.com/sales they have some aygos for sale and they are all reach about 5/6000 so dependant on what you paid, and how good your car is (no dents etc) you are looking at about. List your car on Piston Heads first is what I reccommend, they reach futher across the uk than what mr t will. Have a look, no harm in trying :)
