Just out of curiosity what would be your perfect rav? mine would be aT180 with normal 18 inch wheels and a spare on the back, and a lift up tailgate, roofrails ,style pack, and protection pack, but would still be a little concerned over fuel consumption, and the price!

I think I would build on mine with the Sat Nav, maybe bluetooth and one of Kingo's chips (The latter of which I will probably have at some stage). I might have seat heaters too.

Defo don't want run flats and can live without auto wipers but I have been caught out in the past with not putting my lights on so auto lights are OK. Not bothered about keyless entry either.

:g: Hmmmm, how about one with a lift kit, so you can fit bigger fatter wheels. That newly developed self healing paint.

And a lifetime ambition for me, a V8 engine (nearest I have got is a V6)

Agree with anchorman on auto lights forever forgetting mine, Like your big wheels dave, that hi-lux on top gears N pole expedition was phenominal, also prefered more solid parcel shelf (luggage cover) on 4.2..Can't wait for Bothys take on this prob involve 2 Bugatti Veron engines welded together, but will def have 3 doors.

XTR 180 Auto with conventional tyres, spare wheel, cruise, park sensors etc. Keep the price sensible and gve us the 180 engine without having to go to top trim spec. Manual version as well.

Only said auto as that would be my personal need as is cruise.

The Touareg has a space saver which is deflated for storage, electric pump supplied in tool kit. This takes up very little room.

Hmmm Nice Question....

Everyone here is choosing a Diesel variant....

Still mine would be.. T180 Engined, chipped boosted of course :)

Cruise Control (radar type like merc's)

park Assist control

Better Sat Nav

Same body Kit as the T180 Sport they had at the last motor show

Opening split tail gate not door....(aka range rover style)

Hill decent control

Full leather

DVD head rest players 7" inch screens (god send if you have kids or annoying adults ;) )

Spare wheel (Like the VW one mentioned, brilliant idea)

Proper 18" wheels not !Removed! expensive one's no one can fix!!!!!

There that lot should come at a cost of O say £24K

Also, am I the only one happy to have run flats on my Rav?

At last years British Off Road Championship held at Castle O'er near Lockerbie i had the pleasure of scrutineering the vehicles prior to competition. (slightly different from the Toyota Formula 1 car at Silverstone in 2006)

In modified class we had vehicles fitted with Porsche engines and a L/rover lookalike with a BMW M5 V10 coupled to an auto box bhp in excess of 600. A couple of mildly modified Landcruisers accounted very well for themselves in club class.

The top range TVR 5.2lit V8 is quite a commom substitute for older Rover V8's.

So could we have the Amazon engine in Rav?

Rav 4.2 D4D XTR has been round most of the courses ( minus the obstacle parts) without any problems.

Still want a spare wheel!!!

Gawd forbid............The job is busy enuff wivout pricing stuff up yer not gonna buy :D:

I would like to see the day where you could buy any or all of the above, from Toyota, at sensible prices, they just don't go overboard on accessories and they should do. We could sell cruise control all day long if you could buy a genuine kit. The aftermarket ones are just not good enough

Kingo
