I just picked up a 05 corolla tsport yesterday. i put over 100 miles on it on the way home. all is well except the vsc and trc off light are come on after a few minutes and stay on. also i notice that when wanting to drive in a straight line i have to lean the steering wheel a little to the left. is this causing the problem. the trader (not a toyota dealership) i bought it off put new tyres on the front. but left the back as they have still a good bit of thread. it has a new mot with no extra comments and the guy from the AA that i got to check it out found no problems aside from the tyres and topping up the oil. its been regularly serviced at toyota, theirs still a months warrenty on it.

what shuld i do? should i be worried?

If you have FTSH and Warranty then get it to Toyota quick; These lights should not be on all the time and suggest a problem that could be expensive to fix. But you should be covered by Toyota warranty, and by the dealer who sold it to you.

Doubt it's anything to do with the steering issue - unless that's caused by a brake that's binding rather than alignment being out. If that problem is alignment then warranty won't cover it; it's up to £70 for a full alignment check; don't bother just getting the tracking checked, it's a waste of money and problems that seem to be at the front of the car, can easily be due to something being out of line at the back.
