Noisy Tyres (dunlops)

Hi everybody

I have a 2.0 vvti cdx which came fitted with dunlop 205/65/16s, sport 3000. Trouble is, they are terribly noisy. Anybody else got similar prob ? I think these tyres are standard with the 16" cdx alloys on cdx spec. What Size are yours :P

ps Got em inflated at 32 psi

Hi my Avensis came with the same and also very noisy My tyre dealer suggested to change to a different tyre which I did and the noise reduced I now run on firestone tyres

My Avensis has Bridgestones (205 55 R16's) and I have no issues with noise whatsoever. Bridgestone Tyres generally use a medium to hard compound which I'm told is beneficial in so far as road noise is concerned.

My car is a 2005 Avensis T Spirit 2.0D4D. 17" alloy rims with low profile tyres. I had Dunlop SP Sport 3000s. VERY noisy. In particular NSR tyre was making a swooshing noise and had ripple wear around the inner circumference. Just changed rear tyres to Michelin Exalto PE2 from Costco at £119 each. MUCH quieter. Car is transformed. Cant wait until fronts wear down enough for me to justify changing those too.
