Bov For A Blitz Supercharger

Hi all, i've got a 1.8 2zzge with a blitz supercharger kit installed. i've got a blitz bov to install but wanted to ask a few questions.

1. I was told that in order to have a bov on sc, it must be a bov like the hks ssq, "something that shuts quickly" is what my machanic is saying to me. The blitz bov i have is a super sound dual drive, need to know if this can be still used.

2. i've got to have the piping drilled and the bov welded in place on the last intercooler pipe leading to the throttle body, where is the vacum line for nipple ontop of the bov? if anyone has pics of a bov installed on sc 2zz please post them.

3. currently without the bov the sc makes a load sound when changing gears, (sounds like a loud !Removed! ) i was told that over time without the bov it could slowley wear out the sc. is this true?

thanks for any help

cheers

Rob

well i actually got the car with the kit installed from japan. but i was going to buy a NA model and did test drive and i can tell u that i was only convinced to buy the Superchared one after driving it when comparing it to the NA. i previously had a GT Turbo Starlet with a few mods done to it, and i wasn't about to sell it for a slower car. with the NA u really have to work the engine to get it moving and do ur best to keep the engine in lift. but the SC makes a big difference, power right there when u want it, lots of tourque too.

but my cuzin ended up buying the same NA i was looking at and now its probobly faster then mine, but he's done head work and NOS and is now getting an LSD and a couple other things. His best time is 13.7 on street tires with a 55shot. he's now got semi slicks and uping the shot with the LSD, so i wont' touch him.

sounds like hes doing a lot of work and spending a lot money too lol

yea well lucky for him he still lives at home and hasn't got any bills to pay, his dad got the car for him so no bank loan to pay off, and he works for toyota here so he gets labour cheaper. but yes ur right, he basically spends all his paycheck on parts.

heres a vid of his runx down the 1/4, on a low bottle of NOS too
