Does Anyone Knows Where I Can Get A Ball Joint For Superstrut

Hi Guys

Does anyone know where I can get a Ball Joint for my st202 superstrut...I dont know much about these and I find it so strange that a Ball Joint from a ST202 wont fit? Need help urgently as I need to get it fix before i can sell it, Im scared ill be force to sell it cheaper than its worth...

your help with be much appreciated

standard st202 suspension is totally different.ST202 SUPERSTRUT HAS ALOT OF BALLJOINTS ANYONE OF WHICH CAN FAIL AND KNOCK , TOTAL COST IS ABOUT £350 - £450 FOR ALL PARTS . GOOD LUCK .

CHANCES ARE YOU WILL NEED A FIG 8 AND LOWER ARM 1 . £300 48066-20061 Price: £ 60.00 + £ 10.50 v.a.t AND R .. 48605-29025 .. Price: £ 198.00 + £ 34.70 v.a.t each

L .. 48606-29025

TRY A FIG 8 ON ITS OWN FIRST IF YOUR SELLING , OR TRY AND TIGHTEN THE NUTS UP TO MAKE THE JOINT TIGHTER, ENOUGH JUST TO END THE KNOCKING WHILE YOU SELL IT ON. YOU MAY NEED A WEEKS WEIGHT TRAINING AND STEROIDS TO DO THIS THOUGH .

IF YOU ARE LUCKY IT MAY BE THE TOP BALL JOINT , THESE ARE ABOUT £30 Part number: 43310-29036

mate...u are a legend...lol the part i need is the top ball joint...thats what i been told by my mechanics...its such a pain though, cause i had just put it up for sale and this happened...i dont even drive the car much thats why i decided to sell it...would it be a difficult job replacing the top ball joint, and how you know so much? lolll

Hi Mate...also, when I had got the timing belt changed, i realised they jacked up the right side quite high,and all the engine weight etc was siting on the left side, could dat have done some damage as well as this only started happening after it got change...

the reason you may be right about the arms as well, is when i reversed onto the curb slowly, whilst turning, you can hear this weird noise, like rods squeeking and the knocking a bit...when im driving at saying 25mph and over humps, you can defo hear the knocking, but if im doing 70, u cant hear anything...basically, i think a lot of damage been done to that side to be honest

superstrut knocks about 60 to 80 thousand miles , usually drivers side first .

ohh, knowing my luck, driver side prob ready to go, but ill look through the service history etc...cuz im sure the were change...the problem with these cars, you dont want to give them to any boy scouts who knows nothing about them to repair, cause they will just rip you off...when I took it to scrap yard today to try find a part, they look at it and was like, why did toyota make it so complicated lol
