Boost Gauge Wireing/fitting :s Help

hey all im new to owning my 96 glanza and have insurance booked for this weekend, have broguht two gauges and a pillar pod to fit for the weekend but they arrived with rubbish instructions.

The first gauge (boost gauge) has an electronic read out and is supplied with a hose and then a sensor with red 12volt Battery wire, yelloy ignition wire and black earth wire. does this hose "T-piece" into the vacume hose that goes to my dumpvalve? or does it have to be on the turbo actuator hose? was also wondering if someone has taken Battery wires up to pillar position before is there easy places where i cant get these wires too connect up? was thinking of taking the Battery feed off the wires going into my head unit or is this a bad idea? and also what colour is the glanza ignition wire and battery wire?

as you can tell i am an absolute car novice!
