Wing Mirror Rattle Fix On 4.3

Hi, I have looked at the guide in the Maintenance / Improvement thread in order to fix the rattling sound from the wing mirrors.

My question is, what type of Silicone is the one used in the guide please? Aren't there multiple types of this stuff? Any help on this would be appreciated, thanks.

I think the thing to remember is that you only want to stop that little cover from rattling. To be honest blutac or any non fixing compound would do and certainly any silicone you have got left around or the tinyest tube at the hardware store.
