I'm thinking of replacing the bonnet (or maybe snipping corners and using a carbon fibre sticker) to cover the Bonnet, What ya think, too yucky, I'm tied at the moment it was an idea but im not sure how it will look :(

Vinyl NOOOOOOO

I dont think it would look right on a small car.

Just use carbon fibre effect paint.

Does anyone make a carbon fibre bonnet?

Never mind carbon fibre paint, use some tartan paint instead :D

Fake - too tacky

Real - VERY expensive and a total waste of time in a wee runaround like the Aygo.

Do it, be different, would look sweet against red! Make sure you get the real stuff though!

I completely disagree! :D

Plus as the bonnet is so small, it won't cost a fortune either B)

And as a middle way you could also have the steel bonnet covered in real carbon fibre...

Less expensive than an entire bonnet (which has to be developed first) and WAY better

looking than some cheap-***** carbon-fibre-look vinyl or paint-job...

Yes, nice idea, I've seen self adhesive sheets on sale in the past. Might be able to spend the change on a custom rear diffuser...

Your problem will always be replicating the under bonnet hinge and lock / hook mechanism so maybe a wrap is the best option.

My mate owns this business and does fantastic tints maps & wraps.. http://www.protintuk.co.uk/ 'like' him on facebook to see his work, he has done lots of carbon wraps.
