Slight Problem

Hi

Did a Stupid thing this morning Disconnected the Battery on the Rav.

was checking something in the engine and thought it would be safer to have the Battery disconnected.

Anyway recconected and the Alarm went off my Ears are still ringing and that was 2 hours ago.

I tried using the little Key thing on the Black Box in the engine would not turn WD40 got it to move.

Turnrd off the Alarm.

Tried to Start nothing switched the Key in the Black Box alarm came back on.

Your probably thinking why does he not use the Remote Transponder thing ?

I would have if i received one when I bought the Vehicle.

All I got was one Key with little Key for the Black Box.

Any ideas what I should do next would be most Gratefully received

Going Ok at the moment. In San Fransisco drivimg down to Death Valley today and then

to LA tomorrow some time. Should be back in Glasgow by Tuesday.

Will try and find a Toyota Dealer in LA and see about the price of the Poly Bushes. their are a lot of

Old Rav's in very good condition over here so they must have Parts for them.

How's the weather in Glasgow ? is it still raining ?

Stupid question really, never seen a Day wiyhout Rain in that town :)

Going Ok at the moment. In San Fransisco drivimg down to Death Valley today and then

to LA tomorrow some time. Should be back in Glasgow by Tuesday.

The forecast for glasgow for today was cloudy. Up to now - 12.27pm - we've had glorious sunshine; wind; heavy rain showers; and its cold enough to snow! Have fun (and you are by the sound of it); and if customs ask why yer carrying so many polybushes, tell them its fur yer hip replacement.

bring some petrol back as well cos it goes up again on sunday thanks to a guy from edinburgh

Raining in Frisco at the moment. Going to abandon Death Valley to long a Trip from here.

Will head straight to LA for some Sunshine.

Update on the Alarm issues.

Friend of mine was supposed to drop it in to the Auto Electrician on Tuesday.

Had a phone call from him yesterday telling me he was to Drunk to take it in.

Never heard of a Scotsman being to Drunk ???

Must have been not Drunk enough.. :D

Anyway Car's fixed £40 charge. Hopefully when I get back I won't have to Hot Wire it

to get it started.

It never Rains or Sleets in Sunny California :)

bad news I'm afraid - sun is splitting the trees the noo - all of Glasgae is oot on George square sunning their oxters - dinna worry too much cos the rain clouds are on the horizon!

Good that it was only £40!
