Prius Tyres

Has anyone had any experience of the new tyres designed for improving mpg? Specifically Yokohama E501 dB Super E-Spec (supposedly designed for hybrids) or Goodyear EfficientGrip?

I had the Goodyears on my Alfa 159 and the road noise reduced significantly and mpg improved by about 10%. My Prius (Gen 2) will need new tyres all round in about 1000 miles and I want to make sure that I get the best ones put on it.

Many thanks

James

Check out the following;

Appears low rolling resistance tyres are great in summer and in the wet but not so good in the snow. Guess it depends on where you live, the tyre of driving you do and balance that with the extra mpg's LRT's offer.
