Hi everybody. Just wanted to give you all some advance information on a relevant news piece going in the April issue of Banzai magazine:

PROJECT AYGO GOES PUBLIC

After months of testing and development on our very own Project Aygo, Silverstone-based tuner TTS Performance has released details of its finalised supercharger conversion for the 1KR-FE engine found in the Toyota Aygo, Citroen C1, Peugeot 107, Daihatsu Sirion, Toyota Yaris and new Subaru Justy. Editor Joe can vouch for the fact that this conversion has turned his little city car into a 139bhp flyer yet it remains as docile and easy to live with as the standard car when you don’t feel like playing. The conversion, which is based around a Rotrex C15-16 supercharger, comes complete with all engine management and fuelling modifications, plus a high efficiency front-mounted intercooler. For supply only, the kit will set you back £3290; or you can get TTS to supply, fit and fully set it up on the company’s rolling road for £3995. As early Aygos are now available for just £4000, this means you could get yourself a laugh-a-minute track day car that weighs less than a Lotus Elise, can be taxed for £35 per year, and will soon be congestion charge exempt for under £8000.
