well if you have the tools and feel confidant, DIY.

i brought a genuine toyota service kit - 5-30 semi synthetic oil + filter , air filter, pollen filter and Iridium plugs. all for £90. So if you DIY then thats around £90 for a comprehensive service, using all genuine toyota parts. Also you can get that mate of yours to stamp your service book. Just get the parts through him.

if you DIY then here is some tips - engine holds 4.2 lites(ish).

you dont have to set the gap on plugs if you buy ones above.

pollen filter (a/c) is behind the glove box (see owners book)

the fuel filter is built in the tank so dont worry about that.
