when is it best to change the timing belt on a celica gen 7 140,

ive just hit the 60k miles and my last car i done 90k miles before i changed it

I think you'll find your Celica has a chain rather than a belt.

Check your handbook, but you'll probably find it only needs a periodic inspection rather than having to be changed every so many miles / years.

hi there

mr toyota told me when i got my 140 from them that the timing chain should be good for 100k plus so wouldnt worry to much about that mate ...
