Hi guys great site!!

i have an 89 surf 2.4 TD

would greatly appreciate any help at all??

firstly when im out and about driving, my turbo decides when it wants to-- all is great when its working however when its not and im going up and a hill people walking are practically keeping up with me! turbo overall seems to be in decent condition as whens its working there is minimum smoke and a nice smoothe boost!

any ideas guys??

and secondly i was having abit fun in the sand, when i began to get bogged down being the amateur i am i used my clutch abit too much, leaving a horrible smell, then when i hit the roads when i was driving along with it still in gear was revving with no power, which just got worse throughout the day ending up with no drive at all just revving!

so i changed my clutch was F&@*ed put it back together and its exactly the same, i believe ( i will confirm this when i get home) i can change gear but from gears 2 up to 5 you can hear wearing noise like the friction plate is touching the flywheel only not enough to get drive!!
