Hi

Looking for a T Sport, looked around, there are lots for sale, anything in particular to

look out for other than the usual checks.

Any particular wear parts or weak areas on the car.

Have cash to buy one, so no PX, buget is around £4K, are they depreciating still heavily, as it

seems a lot of car for the money.

Any advice appreciated, as need to sort soon

Cheers.

I've had my 2004 Tsport just over a week now and must admit that prior to buying mine I found reading this forum very very helpful indeed.

It would seem that there are a number of issues with pre-facelift models from poor alarm sensors, bad clutch issues, brake issues to broken lift bolts. Just make sure that whatever car you get you give it a really good look over and ask the seller about the various known faults and see if any repairs have been done.

I always think the best thing to rely on with cars is your instinct - if something niggles you that it doesn't feel right then walk away from the car.

Put just to repeat - the best thing you could do is to read as much of this forum as possible - its very eye-opening.

Hope that helps.
