Hi

Just joined up, currently driving a VW Touran 2.0TDI sport with a DSG gearbox, goes like the clappers but sadly the quality just isn't there, it squeeks, it rattles it has trouble with wind noise (who doesn't ), the longevity of the trim finishes inside are very very suspect, the same faults repaired under warranty just re-occur - in other words VW don't cure the underlying problem, they just fit a new part........... but eventually the warranty period ends.

Now planning to buy a Verso D4D in September, but I'll have to accept a third pedal now as Toyota don't do diesel autoboxes - The DSG gearbox on the VW will be the only bit I will miss, it really is the dogs wotsits!

Looking forward to reading all about the Verso on this site and anything that I need to be looking for beforehand etc.

Hi mate and welcome to TOC. Re the diesel auto, if its a new one you are buying I would make further enquiries. This was allways a moan on the Rav

forum. But apparently Toyota are bringing out a diesel auto Rav later in the year.
