Lifting Up

Hi all new to this forum stuff. I have a 2nd gen surf 2.4TD manual. I am not a mechanic, just a regular pint puller. I want to mod up my surf myself and not uses garages all the time.

I am thinking of a small 2" suspension lift atm, but can anyone tell me if it is just a case of changing rear shocks and front springs & shocks or is there more to do.

Cheers.

To get a 2" lift you will just need 4 new shocks and 2 new rear springs, the front end is on torsion bars which just need winding up a bit, best to do this once you have fitted all of the other bits, the best shocks to go for are ProComp or TJM £35-£50 each.

Some reading for you here and also a link to suppliers.
