ok excuse me for being thick, but if i decide to fit a hks exhaust to my yts then im assuming my warranty goes bye bye, also ive to to tell my insurance to that they can push my premium up some more? am i right? (hope not)

Your warranty will only be void for the exhaust. So unless the garage can prove the hks exhaust caused the problem, it will still be covered.

But, yes, your insurance may go up depending on who you have your policy with. Some insurance companies (inlcuding the club scheme) allow certain mods with no increase.

However, a word of warning, if you do have it done, you MUST inform your insurance company, otherwise your policy will be declared null and void.

damn it, i dont think the insurance will like it as im only 19, the policy is not in my name, and im with toyota insurance, so im pretty certain they will tell me where to shove my policy if i fit the exhaust.

id be surprised if it costs you more than 40 - 50 quid to declare mate...
