Eating Humble Pie

In the past I have been more than just a little critical of the traction and vehicle stability control systems on my Avensis, however I now take all that back. Last week I was driving home from work, it had been raining so the road was wet and just to add to the fun someone had dumped a load of diesal all over the road. The first I noticed was when the Citroen Saxo in front of me span out of control followed pretty much by everyone else - carnage everywhere! Carnage everywhere except for me and a Toyota RAV4 a few cars ahead, we just kept moving and made it through unscathed (I didn't want to stop and be a sitting duck for someone else to crash in to). So well done Toyota and sorry I doubted you in the first place - I guess you don't appreciate something until you really need it.
