Window Wipers

Hi, recently ive noticed a really irritating noise comin from my front window wipers. i dont normally hear cos i have my tunes blasting out, lol!

Has anyone else had this?

I dont think its the Wiper Blades, it sounds like the mechanical bit that moves them.

Does it jst need sum good old WD40??

What's the noise like? Constant, or a squeak each time the blade goes up or down the screen? Does it occur in both directions or just one?

My wipers judder on the upward stroke making a thworp noise and are smooth on the downward stroke making a swish noise.

Annoying at first but I've got use to it now.

That can be caused by a number of things, but most likely permanent set in the blades, which will be fixed by replacing the rubbers.

But if you've got used to it, and they work, then you could just leave it.

I have had weird noises from mine from time to time....I just refit the blades and re-sit the wiper. Usually sorts it out.

lol, its not for that reason cos ive still got the standard speaker setup in the rolla.

its like a constant squeak when they move up and down.

and now my drivers window makes like a pop noise on the way down and ive noticed it rattle a little when driving. !Removed! annoying!

yea thats the sound it makes a 'clunk'...anybody know how to rectify it? a trip to mr t perhaps?

another thing, thinkin of sum new wheels for the ts, so far i think either...

a guy in wrk who drives a mx5 keeps goin on about the weight of the wheels, any thoughts on this so i can shut him up?!?!
