I would think it's a relatively easy job, but how would it affect a personal injury claim due to an accident if the side airbags were disabled, always assuming that the car is fitted with them. Unless of course modern bucket seats have airbags too?

I don't have side airbags. I only have the front airbags

I have always found the hard metal rim around the base of the buckets too uncomfortable to sit on.................. :P

That's your own fault: you shouldn't put them upsidedown...

I've got the standard seats in mine, but I did come across

some pics a while back. I'll have a look if I can find them again...

A good source of bucket seats (not to mention dozens of tasty alloys) is the 'Demon Tweeks' catalogue, either on-line, or phone 'em up and they will post you one, FOC. ;)

P.S. Here's a link......http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/ProductCategory.asp?CLS=ROAD&GRP=RD004

I've got a pair of Corbeau Sprint bucket seats on order, which should be arriving in early April. They will be fitted soon afterwards -- all details will be in the following issues of Banzai

Which catalogue is it as there are 3 different ones by Demon Tweeks. :(

That's good. My question is, how low can you get them? The Aygo really needs very low seats for us taller drivers and the lower centre of gravity would help on the track.

Paul.
