Steering Grinding Noise On Full Left Lock

I picked up my T180 from Inchcape Guildford 2 weeks ago. The car's passenger side electric window stopped working and there is a grinding noise when turning on full left lock. Jemca Toyota Sidcup will fix the window no problem, but they say the noise from the steering is normal. Any one else got the same problem?

P.S. Apart from the above the car is great. Excellent mid range. Comfortable ride, Loads of gadgets……….. Quicker than my old 320d!

Not sure but it could be the well known squeaky brakes....try reversing in a straight line as the sound often happens then.
