Start Up Problems?

ello, had my aygo for a couple of years, currently on around 22k miles....just experience problems starting - Takes a couple of turns of the key for her to spring into life, needs some extra revving weather aint been that cold lately just wet!

Jst wanted to check if its a problem I need to take to toyota or if i can ignore it?

I had a similar problem, sort of, recently.

I'd been getting an annoying whine from the engine once it had warmed and also noticed that if I took a short journey, when I came to restart the engine would hesitate to fire up. I took it in last Monday to be looked at and apparently they are going to replace, under warranty, the V-Belt and Tensioner. Although the Battery has been showing as fine they did say that may have had a knock-on effect.

If yours is struggling to start I would definitely take it into Toyota. Could be something, could be nothing.

How's the Battery? Couldn't hurt to have that tested

as under normale use they only last a couple of years

(250 starts is a number I read somewhere)
