Hi all

Was just wondering if anyone wants to meet up on sunday and convoy into silverstone??? I will be setting off around 7am and heading up the M1 towards 15A and then down the A43 towards Towcester / Silverstone. I will be meeting another member just outside silverstone. And then from there convoy into silverstone.

Let me know if anyones interested ;)

If you can, try to go via the m40 and in from the other side. You can sit for hours on the A43 waiting to get in if you come from the M1 side, it's always very busy in my experience.

From the North, exit the M1 at junction 15a. Take the right filter, A43 South towards Oxford. Travel along the bypass for approximately 15 miles. The hotel is on the right hand side. Postcode is NN135TX If you use sat nav. We will be meeting there for 8.15am

Silverstone TA report

Another good day so the TOM’s IS350 compressor lop 6 seconds off last years time (in the Aristo V300).

Final time was 1.16.406 which was still off the pace but I’m 100/250 bhp off most other cars as well as having standard suspension and running fully trimmed (my choice)

I’m not at TA at Oulton Park as I’m at the Lexus Owners Club Euro meet in germany……..with a day at the Nurburgring then 3 days in Paris………..my next one is Brands Hatch

Some good on track action.................certainly well worth the trip.

Hope you all had a good journey home........................I had the "Grand Tour of Northamptonshire as the A43 (?) was closed for road works and the diversion took me off to Kettering and back along the A14.......................Maybe I should have stayed in convoy with Jerry and Mike (Floctu) and took the M1 South to the Woburn/Bedford turn off

Just got back home after an uneventful trip - but did call at our local Indian restaurant for refreshments before we got here

As Steve said a cracking day out - catching up with established mates and seeing some new faces.

A big THANK YOU to Jerry for organising the meet and no less a thank you to everyone who turned up to make this a successful meet for TOC - especially the newcomers. It can be a bit intimidating going to your first meet - so thanks for coming along and we hope to see you at the next one. I'll post some pictures tomorrow.

Craig and i both had a fantastic day! thanks you so much for making us feel welcome.

i was bloomin knackered by the time i got home (M.E makes long journeys pants, almost collapsed on the sofa when i got in, but was well worth it!)

you guys have got really nice cars.

i deffo think i didnt buy enough stickers when i was there... Must buy more!!

i'll deffo be at santa pod on the 22nd so it will be nice to see some more of you guys there again.
