Hi, i have been experiencing a grinding noise when i brake from, i believe, the rear. I am now looking to replace the pads and the discs could probably do with changing too. My question is will these

fit my Celica (Vvti 140 x reg 2001) ?

Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated!

I'm sure they'll fit OK, but on something as important as Brakes, wouldn't you rather opt for a respected brand such as Black Diamond, Red Dot or EBC? I'm a great believer in the saying, "you get what you pay for".

Of course if could afford it i would go for top makes, unfortunately i dont always have this luxury. I do totally agree with you though. how much should i expect to pay for discs and pads for the rear by any of the manufacturers you mentioned?

Cheers, Mikey

i get a grinding noise aswell from the rear, but since i work away from home mon-fri i have to rebed my brakes in every time i come home.

thinking of changing front and back disks and pads to grooved and red stuff pads. maybe replace some brake pipes and fluid whilst im at it

That grinding noise is a system built into the brake caliper to alert when the pads are low, yes dabbing the brake a few times will get rid of the noise but it wont get rid of the problem. (unless of course the noise is just a little built up rust, but that should disappear much quicker)
