when it is a very windy day or a friend gets out of the car the door falls back quite quickly and goes 'clunk' rather loudly! the 1st time it did it i thought it was gonna fall off... i avoid letting this happen but friends havent yet! lol anyone else experienced this????????

Your friends obviously haven't watched the Yaris adverts.

I suggest you take them on an assault course, or have a go at flying their model aeroplanes. They'll soon get the message.

Aygo, treat it with respect.

thanx 4 the very helpful comment u posted here... umm somehow if i thought that i was thrashing the doors open in anger (u might be right) but i dont...like someone else said on here it can happen in the wind too (and the doors are so flimsy they just fly open) i have NEVER heard this on another car and wud expect not to cos most cars are a little less Sh*ty and more expensive than our little gayo's (just admit some aspects are Sh*ty if u have one)

the doors are quite large and they aren't very heavy. that's the problem. i have had the same horrible crack noise on a number of coupes (and i use the term losely here ;) ).

at the end of the day there are cheaper and worse built little cars. remember there is a strong correlation between build quality and price - you can't have it both ways i'm afraid (although on a pound per quality basis i've had much much worse......)!!

i have had it on other cars aswell on my lupo it had to be repaired (but it happened from the wind)
