Worry About Service

After my post yesterday mentioning about the car Im about to buy being due for 2nd Service in August and when I asked the dealer to do it now they said they wouldnt as too soon,

Well I spoke to them today and stressed my concerns that I was paying a lot of money for a car that I could potentially be paying out lots more on for its 20k / 2yr service in 5 months time and didnt feel that fair. Everyone was advising me this should definatly be done before I take the car as another new owner. They have now agreed to give it a service and stamp the book so I dont need to do one until a year (or another 10k) is up.

Phew was starting to panic then!

pleased all sorted Lizi.

I have to say that unlike many dealerships; Toyota and lexus are both at the top of the tree as far as customer satisfaction and levels of service are exepemplory! There is always an exception to the rule - dealer closest to me - however Lindop Chester have been great - as have RRG Bolton!

I have enjoyed my time here on the forum and also have a used 2.2D in SR trim. A great car and a welcome addition to the family.

Be excited not scared.... its a Toyota :D
