Hey hope someone can help me.

Need to get a replacement glass for the electric sunroof. Where is the best place to obtain one and to get fitted?

Thanks, Sarah ;)

Hi there,

Try these guy's

The Parts Gateway, Automend

I've used them several times when i had an Espace, haven't used them for the previa yet.

Process is simple, register (free-only reason i'd sign-up!!) with an email address and password, put in your car details, they then send that to specialist breakers who will get back in touch really quickly whether they have that item or not.

If you're looking for second hand parts, it's a lot less stressfull and cheaper than phoning round breakers who have little chance of having the car you have in for breaking.

As for fitting, any friends who can recommend?? Or maybe fellow TOC members might be able to recommend for your area??

Hope this helps.

Take Care

Richard

Scrap yards and there are always plenty of Previa's being scrapped on eBay. The problem with eBay is that a lot of the scrap yards won't do a buy it now as they want to dodge paying eBay fee's. You are therefore taking a chance so would carefully check their Ebay feedback although for the reason mentioned this maybe questionable. Use the Ebay emai system for all message exchanges with them and copy these to your personal email box so you have a full track record. Also ONLY pay by PayPal and make 100% sure that in the PayPal message you explicitly state what the payment is for and make reference to the Ebay item ID. This way you at least have some coverage and if nothing else can report him to Ebay for contravening their TOC's. As Ebay is a cash cow for them they will be unlikely to want to have their account canceled and so will be more willing to be honest. Having said that I have had very little trouble buying off these traders.

As for fitting your best option is your partner with a screwdriver and set of spanners. Take it to a garage and you will get ripped off for something that is not a difficult job. It just requires a bit of thought, care and attention. There is an online workshop manual for the Previa's that will help you in your task.
