Speaker Sizes

Hi everyone,

I own a 55reg Yaris T-sport and wanted to ask if anyone knows the speaker size for the front and the one above the dashboard, i also see some adaptors available do i need to buy any? also im thinking of putting the headunit where the slot is under the CD insert, would i have to buy a cage etc

Hi there,

The speaker size for the front doors are 5.25inch as standard but you can fit larger 6.5inch ones in if you make your own adapter. Else you will need to buy one, autoleads do them. Dead easy to make though. Make sure your door Speakers are no deeper than 48mm or you risk clipping the window.

The ones under the dash are 4inch.

And nope you don't need a cage to put a head unit in the coin train. you just screen it into the dash using some 8mm bolts, if I remember right.
