Which engine? the Rev 1 or 2 3Sgte? The first produces 225bhp as standard the second 245.

I think rogue systems - http://www.revision6.com sell these, as do fensport if I remember correctly. You could also try calling CLUB MR2 on 08454582108

Just thought i'd let you know what you were in for if you undergo it alone -

firstly you have to drain all the fluids, engine oil, clutch fluid, coolent, fuel and sometimes brakes - messy job.

Then you have to disconnect everything from the engine lump - all wires, hoses, pipes and fuel lines, takes a day or so.

Then you have to remove the exhaust and the flexi - you can leave the flexi on but don't drop the engine on it!

Then whilst supporting it on a crane you have to unbolt the engine, you can either drop it with the rear axle or not. Its held in at four points, two of which are a pain in the ***** to get to.

Then you care fully drop the engine to the floor, simply pick the car up and lift it over the engine.

Then its a case of sliding the new engine under the car and reversing the process.... oh and you will need to splice in the new wiring loom and ECU - probably the most difficult job of the lot, you can't afford to get it wrong either!

All in all its one huge pain in the bum, but ultimately worth it i think!

Hope this hasn't put you off.....

Matt. ;)
