She's Arrived!

I've picked up my Blue today. I've already covered 90 miles and delighted to have used - just - one bar of fuel and I can't be sure it was topped to the brim as it was a free tankful. bluetooth and ipod connection are the bees knees and I'm also pleased with how quiet she is - certainly a lot quieter than the demonstrator, although I have no idea why that should be.

With end of term today we really stretched our boot requirements but, pleasingly, it all fitted in.

Only concerns - wonder how the back of the front seats will wear. The cloth seems the sort of fabric to possibly tear easily. I've never been one for seat covers but I'm wondering if I ought to with this one.

All in all she is a kooky, fun drive and everyone in the school car park is being nosey at her!

90 miles out of the first bar's either cos the car's new or, like you say, they didn't 100% brim the car. Mine's had 120 miles out of the first bar before now!

I've only had my Platinum 12 days so am new on here as well - it is a great board. Have done 300 miles so far & am down to 3 bars. Have been told I will get 350 - 400 miles from a full tank. Looking forward to many more happy miles of Aygo motoring.

Was on to the dealer today as waiting for a boot liner & was told that the Aygo's are in very short supply at present - 16 weeks wait for the Blue & not many at all in the UK. I was lucky, ordered & picked up in 2 weeks - just got in there in time.

It does look like we our Blue ordered in time. Mine was a three week wait although work committments meant I collected after four.

She does have a name - Dottie. My daughter has just been in a play where she played Dottie and she and the island were completely blue!
