Gen 6 Celica Performance

hi just wondering anyone got any idea's for performance out of my celica gen 6 GT, de-catted, got exhaust, am going to invest in halo plugs and a fam-air air filter (panal filter) i want more go from it any more idea's been trying to find a decent piggyback for the right price as apparently the ecu cannot be re-mapped? dont know how true this is????? someone help me out? cheers

Toyota went VVTi to get the 3SGE to 200bhp, wouldn't imagine there are too many options for substantial gains being honest.

have you thought about looking into turbo kits?? ive seen a supercharger kit for the 3SGE and a fair amount of 7AFE turbo kits, maybe its an option??

the kits for the 7AFE were low compression and didnt require any other upgrades, obviously you weren't able to go able 10psi but it was supplied stating it could take a 120 1.8 engine to 200 BHP (air filter inc) etc.

This has been discussed to death on many occasions, search the topics. I am afraid the best reply has been stated, get yourself a GT4, there are all sorts of things you can do to that, but the others are limited.

You do not say what type of engine you have.

Has anyone ever fitted or spotted a supercharger kit for a 3s-fe engine ?

the 3S-FE engine is the 2.0 non-gt engine yes? ive driven one and it didnt seem much different to the 7A-FE celica, there is only 10 BHP difference.

i havent seen anything for the 3S-FE engine, no chip, no manifold, no turbo kits?? maybe i just havent looked but while searching for items for my own engine ive never seen that engine listed.
