Can anyone help

I wish to fit an Ipod (80 Gb) to my Avensis 2004 that has a W53901 Radio/Cassette/CD system (panasonic) fitted. I do not have a CD changer fitted to this model. I want to use the Ipod through the sound system so as i can control it both from the unit and the steering wheel contols

I believe there is a cable that i can use that will plug into the 12 pin socket for the CD changer at the back to do this .

Can anyone tell me if this is possibe, what parts are required and is it in the scope of DIY?

You can buy a xcarlink adapter (from ebay) or http://www.dension.com adapter. The last one is more expensive.

Do you have the full map (7") navigation? You might run into problems (like I did).

firstly no i dont have full 7'' but just the turntable one small screen. Will this adaptor enable me to run the Ipod as i wish and is it easy to fit
