a guy in wrk who drives a mx5 keeps goin on about the weight of the wheels, any thoughts on this so i can shut him up?!?!

ive looked on the forum at sum of the pics for sum inspiration, i like the idea of 5 spokes.

my tsport is the granite colour one!

momo's good quality finished wheel, id be more inclined to go for 18's on a cts as i think the standard 16's look tiny

id also be tempted to fit some lowering springs to there has been various threads on here regards to this. there was also a thread were quite a few people listed pics of various t sports with new wheels fitted might be worth a look

thers a chap on here with user name i think its sw, has a nice set of wheels on his cts, is alsace granite coloured.

here is a link to sum of the wheels...

wolfrace triad...http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/17-TOYOTA-COROLLA-WOLFRACE-TRIAD-5-SPOKE-ALLOYS-TYRES_W0QQitemZ370034692044QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item370034692044

rota gtr...http://www.rarerims.co.uk/alloys_sub2.asp?id=18

momo gtr...http://www.alloywheels.com/product.asp?numPageStartPosition=1&P_ID=697&strPageHistory=cat&strKeywords=&strSearchCriteria=&PT_ID=114

...the triads only go up2 17 i think and the rota's are more expensive, im inclined to go for the momo's for size and price cos id prefer 18's

the momo wrs are also quite nice

What colour of T sport do you have? Stick with Rotas the other 2 options aren't that nice. Rota do some fantastic looking wheels in different colours. All down to what will complement the colour of your car. Rota GTRs are out their all 5 stud

One thing i want to suggest before you buy anywheels, look for a good company a top alloy wheel company. You have an expensive and very nice car you dont want to ruin your drive stability with a rubbish wheels. Steer clear of the wolfraces they are extremely heavy not to sure of momo they are good quality im sure of it. Look for something light. I have experimented with my wheels and cheap wheels first off are extremely heavy and as your are going bigger the ride is going to get extremely rough with the low profiles. To maintain good fuel consumption and keep your speedo accurate get good quality wheels have them all balanced out etc. Go for a good company and keep them light thats my suggestion. Have a look at kahns or something tsw, oz, they make nice wheels. Iv seen some good wheels on eBay go for nothing i bought mine which are great all for £100...have a look.

Here's something to help with your decision making:

DSCF0602.jpg

Rota Boost in Gunmetal

what size are they?

17" with 205/40/17 types, ideally need to be 215/45
