Stupid Question About Dashboard Illumination...

P2 T-Sport - haven't got the car yet hence the question... what colour is the dash illumination?

Oh, that's so... startling! I assume the dash lights can be dimmed on a rotary dimmer like the Celica?

Has anyone attempted an illumination colour change either by fitting painted or filtered bulbs or LEDs? Like a red colour scheme similar to the 'Rolla T-Sport?

Its on a button near the clocks, Its bright or dim no inbetween tbh if your like me you get in turn the lights on and press the button force of habit now lol. Nver really had the clocks out to have a look tho and wouldn't really want to. As for the dash im also unsure about changing colour, but thats just at one set brightness.

Thanks for that but seriously though, I would've thought the illumination was red, similar to the Corolla, gives a great sporty look to it and sets the car further apart from the non-sport models. Oh well, I'll wait 'til it gets here then see if I like it - if not I might have to investigate further ;)

I've had a wander over there already and got some ideas for what I want to do - I don't think I'll be happy with the white/green illumination and will probably change it to red at some point (it's a red car so will suit it.) I suspect I'll end up changing the speedo/tacho colour, the heater controls colour and also the trip computer colour and if I do I'll post some 'how-to' threads with pics as this subject seems to pop up regularly.
