Tyre Pressure Help

Does anyone know how much psi i should be putting into 18inch wheels on my st185 gt4..

the tyre sizes are 215/35/18 for the front and 235/40/18 on the rear..

no, that will only tell you the absolute maximum the tyres can take.

as a guideline the tyres should be pumped to around 27psi for optimum performance... and pumped higher for motorway journeys to preserve tyre quality.... granted you've got to be a pretty keen motorist to play about with your tyre pressures in the cold for each individual trip

I'm not sure if RWD cars need more tyre pressure on the rears than the front...

There was a thread a while ago that recommended 32psi for 17's. Wider tyres generally need a little more pressure to keep the tread part flat on the road apparently

Standard pressure is circa 30 psi. Recommend up to 35 for 'faster' work.
