Does anyone know how much psi i should be putting into 18inch wheels on my st185 gt4..

the tyre sizes are 215/35/18 for the front and 235/40/18 on the rear..

thanks for your help

it should tell u on the rubber d00d... if it dont i dont know sorry

no, that will only tell you the absolute maximum the tyres can take.

as a guideline the tyres should be pumped to around 27psi for optimum performance... and pumped higher for motorway journeys to preserve tyre quality.... granted you've got to be a pretty keen motorist to play about with your tyre pressures in the cold for each individual trip :lol:

I'm not sure if RWD cars need more tyre pressure on the rears than the front...

There was a thread a while ago that recommended 32psi for 17's. Wider tyres generally need a little more pressure to keep the tread part flat on the road apparently
