Poor Mpg On 1.6vvti Auto

Hi

I own a 04 1.6vvti auto since new. The mpg has never been great but over the pass 3-6 months its got worse. I am now getting about 295 miles per tank (less than 30mpg). Any idea's?

The easiest thing I can think of is to get your ECU reset!

try fuel cleaner etc by redex, get a service done to make sure. If its going worser

check your tyres to make sure they arent low.

I have just booked it in for its 4 year service and MOT. I have checked the tyre pressures and they seem ok. Hopefully the service will improve things as with the price of a tank now being approx £58.
