Hey my AE92 GT-I has some rust on the passenger front arch and the rear drivers arch.. i was just wondering what the best way is to tackle it... could i cut out the rear arch and somehow...... stencil it off another rolla from a scrap yard and weld the plates on? Or do my best to just weld some plates on and shape it? The front im just gonna get another wing for but the rear is really a toughie dunno which way to aproach it... Or would you recomend taking it to a bodyshop to get the rear done as its so fidily.

If the bodyshop aproach does anyone know some good reasonably priced bodyshop repair places?

Thanks :)

Andy

The wings are easy to source.

The rear arches can also be sorted. All you require is a rear arch repair panel which can be purchased from most automotive parts shops, They look like this

You get your existing arch cut out and that replacment panel is then welded in.

More about that process here

Prices depend on the places you visit.

I cant remember how much i paid but i think it was around £20-25 a panel.

Youv then got to get it welded on which maybe pricey then get the whole quatre panel re-sprayed.
