'05 Yaris Verso Fascia/audio Question

Hi everyone,

Will be picking up my recently purchased 2005 Yaris Verso 1.4 D-4D T-Spirit on the weekend, and one of the first things I'll be looking at doing is upgrading the stereo. I've read the HowTo guides (good stuff), and think I'll be able to do it myself. Looking around for a replacement fascia and I found this...

http://www.dvbcaraudio.co.uk/toyota-yaris-...ery-p-3254.html

...is this the right part for what I presume to be a Phase 2 Yaris/Verso? I'm assuming the FP-11-03 RAV4 fascia will just slot into this unit, but if not I can try and get a replacement fascia direct from Toyota. Basically, this looks a bit cheaper than the official direct-from-Toyota part (£38 seems to be the consensus) but can anyone who's tried to install this fascia confirm whether it's a kosher replacement? Really don't want to be hacking and filing away at the dash if I can help it

Also, as it's a T-Spirit, I'm fairly keen on trying to get the steering controls working with my replacement head unit. Has anyone had much success with the Connects2 steering adaptors (namely the CTSTY001 and corresponding model-specific lead) in a Phase 2 Yaris/Verso? If it helps, I'm probably looking at a cheap no-frills JVC (KD-G431) or Kenwood (KDC-W4034a) head-unit with MP3/WMA.

Anyway, that's the first post out the way.

Any advice appreciated,

Darren

BUMP!

And to cut my cry for help a bit shorter...

Has anyone successfully fitted an official Phase 2 Yaris Fascia (Part No T55406-52041-B0) into a Verso? I can deal with all the other stuff later. For now, I just need to know that the fascia will fit correctly before I order one from my local Toyota dealer (Dingles of Norwich). They've quoted me £43.62 for the part (seems about right) but were unable to guarantee it would fit the Verso.

Cheers again,

Darren
