Replacement Front Speakers

All,

I Bought a set of Infinity Reference 4022i 10cm Speakers to replace the standard Speakers in my Aygo, and although they fit in the back they are too big to fit in the front as they fowl the Bolt that sticks out from the bulkhead that holds the dash on.

If anyone has replaced the front's, can you let me know what Speakers you have used as the standards are pretty poor and i want to swap em.

Alpine’s fit just fine and are only slightly offset. Because they are coaxial I had to trim a bit off the inside of the car’s plastic speaker cover. But, the most important thing is that the speaker magnet fits in.

Any reasonable 10 cm Speakers will fit. Measure it and then goto the shop if you need measurements. Your not going to get a lot of quality difference with 10cm Speakers anyway. Better off going for some comps and a small sub (pioneer acitve on jan van de wow is an example.) You will be about a thousand times happier with the money you will be spending.
