Hi, I've got a '51plate 1400VVTi corolla that has developed a very noisy rattle/resination from the inlet manifold, has anyone came across this problem before? And is it simply a case of replacing the inlet manifold to cure it? Toyota have quoted me £220 for the part alone so I want to be sure that it'll fix the problem before spending the cash!

Any advise most welcome!

does it increase with engine speed?

think your find that its the plastic inlet manifold, replaced a few of these now.
