Black Smoke!

i had one of my mates from work behind me today goin onto a local by pass so i thought i show him how good the t sports are lol!!! i put my foot down first second third and he said from behind i kicked out black smoke when i changed to second briefly out my exhaust for a second or two then it went??? is this common or is something wrong??? any ideas???

Overfueling???? Would have thought it would have been blue smoke if you were burning oil....Maybe it was unburnt fuel???

I have also seen this when the "lift" is activated in 2nd gear at 6.200rpm, though the description of the smoke's color was not exactly black.

I think the "smoke" tends to disappear if you pass the lift point few more times.

I guess it could be a momentarily bad mixture of fuel in combination with a strong move of previously condensed gases out of the exhaust.
