Rear Wiper

I just noticed that the piece of plastic which covers the bolt on the rear wiper is missing

Can anyone tell me firstly what the proper name for it is and also if it's possible to get a replacement ?

"piece of plastic which covers the bolt on the rear wiper" is probably the best description you could use.

IIRC it's actually called a "head cap" by the wiper blade manufacturers but that may not be what the parts people call it.

You'd need to ask Parts-King whether you can buy it separately. At a guess you may need to buy the whole arm.

But they tend to be fairly standard (apart from on the very latest cars) so you may be able to get one from a scrap yard for 20p or so.

I went to my dealer and they've ordered it in for me - £3.30.

Mines been missing since I bought the car. Interesting youve said the dealer has got you one for £3.30

When I last enquired about one they quote me £5.99

I will have to pay them another visit

update: Went in to Toyota today and was quoted £2.99 for the cover. Im speechless lol considering how much i was quoted for it just a few months ago
