Short answer: Yes.

Long answer:

If you still have warranty, make sure they use all official Toyota parts and follow the service schedule to the letter. This keeps the warranty valid.

If you don't have a warranty, then you can use whatever parts you like, just make sure they're good quality.

my car aint in warrenty, it will be done at a main jennings garage so im sure it will be ok.

im dreading this service as i need two front tyres for deffinite, im sure i need pads and disks all round, need wire fixing properly to sensor on induction kit, not sure what problem is with this fluctuation of slight amount of rpm, lol

all little things but i bet it costs a fair bit.

I wouldnt take my car anywhere near Toyota unless I had to. Just buy good Toyota oils and parts and get the jennings garage to do it.

i take mine to a quality independant to get my book stamped - he's a mate too which helps. i take my own oil and filters. wouldn't use toyota most of them use semi synthetic oil and overcharge for it. i took mine for warranty repairs with blueprint filters - which was noticed - and made no deiiference. not much difference in price from a quality independant but you usually find you get a discount for loyalty and quite often sort lil things free. mr t isnt intersted in maintaining your car - they sell cars - independants i find look after the customer better and you can watch them do the work and speak to the person doing your car. only problem is good garages are rare.
