Hiya Rose and welcome to the club

Les

Thanks Les. I have a Toyota Yaris T3 MMT. I am the second owner and it is 4 years old. I wondered if anyone could help me with anything about clutch replacements. It has only done 18,000 miles and they tell me the clutch needs replacing, after I had problems with it slipping into neutral when I was driving. Any chance you know anything about this? Thanks oif you can help. I haven't been able to send a request to everyone, technology seems to be ebyong me!!!! Regards Rose

Welcome Rose.

Post your question about it popping out of gear in the Yaris thread; you're more likely to get a response there.

I'd be wary about changing the clutch until you have had the problem properly diagnosed; I've never known a failing clutch cause the problem you've described. That sounds more like a gear linkage / gearbox problem to me, though of course the MMT may be different in that respect to regular vehicles.
