I was given the lifeshine car protection pack yesterday from a friend who works at a skoda dealership. Its an alternative to supaguard (skoda charge £300 per application), just wondering if anyone has any experience of this product?

I suppose its an alternative to Supaguard but I would still prefer to rely on frequent applications of a decent wax etc. I don't think there is an easy way to protect your car so there is no way I would use such a product

Its interesting that you can buy these packs on eBay, usually under a £10. There's even a few on Buy It Now for under £20.

Same applies to Supaguard too.

So for people that swear by these products (which doesn't really include me) - you could save yourself a fortune by buying a kit and dedicating a sunday to the job....
