Dashboard Display Dying

Hi everybody

My 2 year old Corolla has a problem with the digital display for odometer (km). Every time I wipe the dashboard and Plexiglas dash cover, the odometer black background partially disappear. It looks like computer monitor developing bad pixels, all black and white. It lasts for 5-10 minutes and then It gets back to normal.

I’m wandering if anybody had similar problem. I'm afraid it will get worse and I might need a new dash.

Thank you

From the sounds of it, your pushing it too hard when your cleaning it, less pressure next time

I only clean mine when i can't read it too well, and thats about once a year unless the garage cleans it for me before then

If it stays blurry for period of time, then you have a problem.

Hope that helps
